Samsung Electronics' 2024 Collection of AI Technologies

 Jong-Hee Han, Vice Chairman of the CEO and Head of the DX Division at Samsung Electronics, said today, "Samsung Electronics' 2024 products are a collection of AI technologies." "We want to open the era of 'Bispeak AI' armed with cutting-edge AI and SmartSync-based connectivity technology."




"This year, we plan to apply generative AI to our Bispoke AI products and implement a feature that allows the products to run in a natural conversation, just like talking to your family," Han said in an article posted on Samsung Electronics' newsroom ahead of the global launch of Bispoke AI products on March 3, 2024.

"Our 2024 products are designed to greatly reduce the burden of household chores by integrating various sensors, recognition technologies, big data analysis technologies, high-performance AI chips, and the Tizen OS," said Han. "You can easily see and operate products around the house at a glance on the large screen of the Family Hub refrigerator or the 7-inch touchscreen of the Bispoke AI combo."

"Based on the strength of Samsung's devices, SmartSync, we will introduce more than 100 different product connectivity features that will completely change your life."

"The key to Bispoke AI is 'security,'" Mr. Han continued. "Even the most advanced AI technology is useless if it cannot protect users," he said, "Samsung's AI products are protected by 'Samsung Knox' to ensure that users can use them safely, and interconnected Samsung devices are monitored by the blockchain-based 'Knox Matrix' to strengthen security between products."

The latest AI products, the Bispoke Refrigerator FamilyHub Plus and Bispoke Jetbot Combo AI, have earned the highest IoT security rating of "Diamond" from global certification company UL Solutions.

"There is no other product in the global home appliance industry that has earned UL Solutions' 'Diamond' rating," said Mr. Han. "We are constantly researching technologies that can further enhance the security of Bispoke AI products and smart homes."

According to market research firm Ipsos, which conducted a "Life with AI" survey of 17,000 people in 17 countries around the world, respondents ranked the evolution of medical technology (86%) and enhanced security (86%) as the most important contributions AI technology will make to society (multiple responses).

"We are developing products that are not just convenient, but devices that anyone can easily use, and products that can contribute to society by reducing environmental impact," said Han, citing the 7-inch LCD screen and auto-open door technology of the Bispoke AI Combo, an all-in-one washer and dryer.



"We are striving to reduce the environmental impact of our products by utilizing next-generation technologies," said Vice Chairman Han, adding, "We are not only applying AI technology to reduce the energy consumption of our products, but also innovating technologies that can reduce the power consumption and carbon emissions of refrigerators by using semiconductor devices, and technologies that can be used continuously without periodically replacing the filter of air purifiers, and so on."
