A team from the Korea Advanced Institute of Defense Science and Technology said Sunday that it successfully demonstrated artificial intelligence-based photon radar technology at the Sejong Electronics Test Site. According to the institute, the technology can be used to detect and identify small flying objects such as drones by generating and processing electromagnetic waves using laser light.
