AI Platform Installed on the Group's Intranet

 Dongwon Group in South Korea announced today that it has introduced its own artificial intelligence (AI) platform, Dongwon GPT, to transform its business.

Dongwon GPT is an AI platform based on GPT 4.0 from ChatGPT developer OpenAI.

It can create documents, analyze data, and search for internal information such as human resources and general affairs.

Installed on the group's intranet, it can be used with confidence without leaking internal information and is expected to significantly improve employees' work productivity.

Dongwon Group will continue to add business materials for each business to enhance Dongwon GPT to provide customized information to employees.

It will also be linked to group systems such as ERP (enterprise resource planning) and MES (production management system).

The company aims to become a data-centered company by building a management information system that helps top executives make strategic decisions and derive new product strategies based on the group's customer and sales information.

Prior to the introduction of Dongwon GPT, Dongwon Group conducted hands-on training to strengthen the AI utilization capabilities of its employees.

The training was attended not only by employees but also by top executives, including Chairman Kim Nam-jung, who practiced the process from utilizing GPT to applying it in the field.

"By the first half of this year, more than 25 percent of all office employees are expected to have completed the training, saving about 150,000 hours of work time annually," said an official from Dongwon. "We will set this year as an important year for improving the group's office productivity and embark on various activities for digital transformation and sustainable growth."
